Crafting success in a billion-dollar 'brewscape'
We’re tapping into a dynamic and underserved industry, the gluten-reduced beer market. More than 2 million Americans have been diagnosed with Celiac disease. Studies have shown that as many as 1 in every 133 Americans may have it (Source). According to Dr. Fasano, director of the University of Maryland Center for Celiac Research, about 6% to 7% of the U.S. population may be gluten-sensitive, meaning about 20 million people in the U.S. alone could have the condition (Source). Gluten aversion or gluten sensitivity severely limits the choices for those who enjoy beer, which is why we have created our own gluten-removed beer just for you, to complement the variety of other tasty craft beers we have to offer.
In 2022 alone, the global craft beer market was estimated to be worth $109 billion and anticipated to develop at a CAGR of 14%, projected to reach $187 billion by 2027 (Source). The U.S. craft beer market, the cornerstone of our strategy, was valued at $29.03 billion in 2022, set to grow to $52.47 billion by 2028 at a CAGR of 10.37% (Source). We believe our targeted focus on a segment poised for such potential positions us as a pioneer in a very promising market.
Based on our calculations, we believe that since 6-7% of the U.S. population may be gluten-sensitive, 6-7% of the approximate 50 million beer drinkers may also be gluten-sensitive.
