Radiation therapy is widely used today, but it is still limited by how radiation is generated and delivered. Treatments are typically spread over many sessions because current systems deliver radiation slowly and must account for tumor motion and healthy tissue exposure.
TibaRay is working to change that by developing technology designed to deliver radiation up to 400 times faster, in a fraction of a second. This level of speed is what enables FLASH radiotherapy, an emerging approach that research suggests may reduce damage to healthy tissue while maintaining tumor control in preclinical studies.
